Plan for second shoot- Worcester and Birmingham Canal:

For my second shoot is the other half of what will be my final photos will be. For this shoot I want to take photographs of industrial chimneys or water pipes going into bodies of water. I think the best place to do this shoot is along the Worcester Birmingham canal, as I can recall from train journeys along this route there are some factories along the way. I would like in the photographs for the audience to be able to see some part of the factory. I need to remember composition when I take the photographs as I need to add trees coming out of the chimney. I will be using my Sony DSLR with my 18mm-55mm lens, I will also take my polarising filter to get more contrast and definition in the clouds as the sky will be a decent amount of the photograph.

Evaluation of Worcester Birmingham Canal shoot:

This shoot was successful, I managed to get a decent amount of photographs of chimney’s however none of water pipes (this doesn’t really matter though as I can just use chimneys.) The photographs all have some sort of building or factory at the bottom, so the photographs aren’t just the chimney as that would look a little more boring. I also remembered to leave enough space at the top of the photograph to fit the tree in later on. I walked along the Worcester Birmingham Canal from Kings Norton to Selly Oak which was just over an hours walk, I was certain that there was no point for me to keep walking as I had got enough photographs, because I know I don’t want too many final photographs.

I don’t know if I need to do a second shoot like this because the weather was nice enough that I got evenly lit photographs and there was a good amount of clouds in the sky and I don’t really see how a second shoot like this would be any better I think I would just get the same outcome.
