FINAL MAJOR PROJECT

IDEA ONE:CLIMATE CHANGE

My first idea for my fmp is to take photographs that have strong messages about Global Warming throughout them. Which is carrying on from my Creative Process project. Global Warming has been a rising topic for a very long time but one I think more and more people are starting to realise just how damaging it is going to be. As a landscape photographer I think it is vital that you have respect for the environment and I want to show this through my work.
I would want to use film for this project and maybe polaroid film but I'm not too sure yet, as polaroid is never comes out very decent. The reason I want to use film is because I want them to be a one off.
My inspiration for this idea is Joe Cornish.

Costs:

The costs for this would be mainly to be able to travel to different locations. I would also have to think about costs for film as I would want to use either 35mm or 120mm.

Limitations:
My only real limitation is not having enough time to travel to different places or not having enough money to get to different locations.

IDEA TWO:
NATURE V. MAN

My second idea is to take photographs of landscapes that have nature in the foreground and buildings in the background or versa. This idea is sort of similar to my first idea because I would like to build up my landscape portfolio as it's my speciality and I am also carrying on from my creative process. I think it would be good idea to show the contrast between both nature and buildings as one of the nature in these photographs might not be there in the future as the buildings weren't there at one point either.

Costs:

The costs would be about the same as the first one as I would need to travel to different places to capture different contrasts between locations and buildings. I don't know yet whether I would use film or digital.

Limitations:
Limitations would be not finding a contrasting landscape and man made scape, however I could always turn to digital manipulation and Photoshop landscapes and man made scapes together to get even more of an impact.

IDEA THREE:
STAGED PORTRAITS

My third and final idea is different from the first two, it's portraits not location. My favourite photographer is Gregory Crewdson whom creates highly staged, elaborate photographs and this is something that I thought I might try for this project as it is out of my comfort zone because I'm not really a fan of taking portraits nor working in the studio which I think I would be working in the studio for this idea to have better control of the lighting.

Costs:
This project wouldn't cost as much as my other two ideas because I wouldn't need to travel because I want to work in the studio for this idea.

Limitations:
Limitations for this project idea would be not using a variant of models and or not being able to work with different models.
